Lost in London
by Cindy Callaghan
Twelve-year-old Jordan Jacoby is in desperate need of a “de-bored-ification” and the only thing that will help is a dream adventure in London. When the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity presents itself, she’s on a plane across the pond faster than you can say “cheerio, mate!” But Jordan’s trip doesn’t go as smoothly as she expects. Her host, Caroline, is more of a frenemy than a friend who can think of nothing more dreadful than visiting London’s tourist spots with Jordan. After the two get locked inside Daphne’s, an 18-story shopping mecca (think Harrods, but even better!), they’re thrown into an adventure they will never forget.
I can't wait to read Lost In London!
ReplyDeleteI just started reading Lost In London and I'm lovig it.
ReplyDeleteI just finished the book Lost in London and really liked it. Especially how Caroline changed through out the book. At first I got a bad impression on her. I thought she was a spoiled jerk and didn't want J.J. around. After J.J. got more involved in Caroline's life she started to change into a nice person who appreciates the time she had with J.J. I think J.J. influenced Caroline because she taught her that you can't always get what you want. I thought this was a good lesson for everyone because sometimes unwanted people come into your life but you have to deal with it since everything isn't always about you.
ReplyDeleteI have recently finished this month's book, Lost in London. I really enjoyed how descriptive the book was. I t was SO easy to relate to! One reason is J.J' s over protective parents. ( I bet all of us can relate to that every once in a while) Another is her change of thought, feeling, and personality throughout the book. Throughout my life I have changed a lot just like her. To fing out more about J.J. and her trip to London, read Cindy Callahan's new book, Lost in London!
ReplyDeleteI have finished Lost in London and loved it. One reason why I liked the book was because all of the characters had different personalities, which made the book more interesting. Another reason why I liked the book was because Jordan, aka J.J., helped Caroline, who was unwelcoming to others, become nice. I thought that I was a lot like Sam because I love to eat too. The book is probably in my top 5 favorites. Lost in London was a great book that I would definitely recommend to people.
