Wonder

Probably the best book we have read a s a group, and we have read a lot of good ones. It is told from several different perspective and the change that takes place with these people and the community. Friendship, empathy, compassion and acceptance.

ReplyDeleteThis book was very different than anything I've read before. It has the perspective of a few characters. I recommend that every one reads it when they get the chance to because it is the best book I've ever read, after Because of Mr. Terupt and the sequel to it.
ReplyDeleteI think Wonder was a unique book. It talked about how it doesn't matter what you look like, it only matters about your personality and if you are a good person. I would highly recommend this book.
ReplyDeleteHi girls! I love your blog. What a great idea! I also loved Wonder. It was one of the best books I've ever read, and I think that everyone--children and adults--should read it. I loved that I was able to see not only the perspective of August, but also the perspective of all of those around him. All of us can identify with at least one of the characters, and it was an incredible experience to be able to put myself in the shoes of Auggie, his family, and the students at his school. If you are looking for an AMAZING book to read this summer, this should be it!
